New trends in technology require more attention regarding the effects of it on children, especially those of primary ages. These are due to the fact that excessive hours in front of computers and mobile phones could have consequences in educational processes. For this, it is necessary that: 1. Limit the use of them to 30 minutes. In the case of preschoolers it should be 15 minutes. For children under 3 years of age, use should be avoided as much as possible. 2. A pattern of educational use must be established. 3. Access to non-didactic material must be denied. 4. Applications that encourage learning, as well as reading and acquisition of vocabulary, should be downloaded. 5. You must be aware of what children do. They should not be alone. Although computers, and technology in general, is a good source of information and work these points should be watched when dealing with children. The important thing is to maximize its usefulness and minimize the risks that may result. For this is essential to create a plan of use, and parents and teachers are key in it.
