The Use of Technology in Children's Environments

New trends in technology require more attention regarding the effects of it on children, especially those of primary ages. These are due to the fact that excessive hours in front of computers and mobile phones could have consequences in educational processes. For this, it is necessary that: 1. Limit the use of them to 30 minutes. In the case of preschoolers it should be 15 minutes. For children under 3 years of age, use should be avoided as much as possible. 2. A pattern of educational use must be established. 3. Access to non-didactic material must be denied. 4. Applications that encourage learning, as well as reading and acquisition of vocabulary, should be downloaded. 5. You must be aware of what children do. They should not be alone.
